Living My Nightmare

It was nice meeting you
It’s been a pleasure
Though I am sad
It’s not the things you do
Some sort of measure
It’s what you had

Take care of your days now
My love to your children
Know I pray
You grieve and allow
The pain, but my chagrin
You would stray

Going on two years solo
Leaving your love to dust
Bereaving and then you must
Move on
Strive to avoid the so low
Keep yourself on the earth
Find a life of new birth
And on

You roll living my nightmare
No sign of scare
How is this fair?
You rock, fight like a tiger
A heart on fire
All eyes admire
